Aunt Jean and Ed,

I hope Mama and I were of some comfort to you last night. We are praying
for all of you. Ernest will always be "Little" Ernest to me; and, he didn''t mind me
calling him that. I can vividly remember us playing Monopoly at Uncle Roy and
Aunt Clara''s house and both Little Ernest and Ed riding to Lakeland with us when we would go there to swim.
We were so grateful to have Little Ernest serve as a pallbearer for Daddy; and, I know Daddy was too. His presence will be greatly missed. Take comfort
now and in the days and weeks to come knowing that Little Ernest is in the arms of his Heavenly Father.

All our love,
Jen, Janet and Eva Grace

Mrs. Jean and Ed,
I have been praying for you! I was at Mom''s today and she had my old school annual and I took a few minutes to look at it and reflect on the many memories I had of Earnest. All during high school, Bill Newby, Earnest, and myself had some competitive chess matches. I was planning on coming down for visitation, etc, but I will not be able to make it. My daughter is graduating from college in St. Louis on Tuesday.

Dear Mrs. Jean and Ed,

Ernest was a wonderful and helpful high school friend. I''m not sure I would have survived Chemistry and Physics without him. I am distraught at this horrific news and I am praying for your family. Hugs to all of you.

Miss Jean and Ed

Keith and I both have fond memories of our years in school with Ernest. Keith''s memories go back much further than mine to childhood. Ernest always had a kind and sweet spirit. May God give you and your family the peace that passes understanding. You have been and will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.

Ernest was a fellow classmate of mine at Fayette Academy and I remember that sweet smile of his and his kindness. Praying that the Lord will comfort you with His peace, surround you with His love, and encourage you with His presence.

Jean & Ed

I have felt such a heavy loss since Mama called me with the news about Little Earnest. About two months ago I got a message from him to add him as a friend on Facebook. I did so and was going to send him a quick message as I know he had been communicating with another friend of mine. For some reason I did not send that message at that moment. I can''t imagine the pain you and Ed are going thru at the moment. No parent should ever lose a child. You are in our thoughts and prayers. We love you very much and will always be there for you. Jean, I am so sorry that you are having to go through this. I still remember Little Ernest as a little boy running around church. He was always so neat and smart and cute. My heart aches for you and Ed and the rest of the family. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
