William Robert “Will” Crawford, age 34, resident of Oakland, Tennessee, departed this life Monday, April 9, 2018.
Funeral Services were held at 2 P.M. Friday, April 13, 2018 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Bro. Eddie Little, pastor of the First Baptist Church Hickory Withe, officiating. Interment followed in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - West Chapel at Oakland.
Will was born March 2, 1984 in Memphis, Tennessee, the son of Jerry Wayne Crawford and Debbie Lynn Mewborn Crawford. He was a graduate of Fayette Academy in Somerville Class of 2002 and attended Southwest Tennessee Community College in Memphis. He was certified as an Emergency Medical Technician and loved working with his hands and building. Will was a member of First Baptist Church Hickory Withe and enjoyed watching movies, music and the fellowship he had with his high school band family, target shooting, cooking, fishing, grilling out and spending time with his pet dog, Bandit. He will be remembered for the love he showed toward his friends and his compassion toward everyone. Will was at his best when he was helping others.
Will is survived by his parents, Jerry Wayne Crawford and Debbie Lynn Mewborn Crawford of Oakland, TN and his sister, Cortney Crawford of Oakland, TN. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William “Gordon” Mewborn and Elizabeth “Ted” Bradsher Mewborn and his paternal grandparents, Robert Wood Crawford and Mary “Lerline” Davis Crawford.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Cliff Crawford, Brian Signaigo, Michael Tutor, Mike Tutor, Alex Martinez and Amy DeFoor.
