Angela Annette King, age 49, resident of Somerville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2026, at Jackson General Hospital.
Angela was born on August 27, 1977, to Johnny Royce King and Beverly Feathers Shubert. She was a dedicated quality control operator and was known by those who worked alongside her as a hardworking and dependable person. Angela loved her coworkers and considered them an important part of her life.
Those who knew Angela will remember her for her incredibly sweet spirit and kind heart. She had a warmth about her that made people feel cared for, and she loved her family deeply. She enjoyed attending wrestling events and had a special love for The Vampire Diaries and Hocus Pocus. Above all, Angela cherished the time she spent with the people she loved and was always there for her family.
Angela is survived by her mother, Beverly Shubert; her stepmother, Betty King; four sisters; three brothers; and fifteen nieces and nephews, who will forever cherish the memories they shared with her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Royce King, and her stepfather, Ronald Gene Shubert.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Charles Feathers, Phoenix Feathers, Dallas King, Christopher Bobbitt, Adam King, and Dustin King. Phil Sides will serve as honorary pallbearer.
Funeral Services for Angela will be at 1:00 Tuesday afternoon, October 6, 2026, at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with interment following at Fayette County Memorial Park on Highway 64. A visitation for Angela will be from 11:00 until 1:00 Tuesday afternoon, October 6, 2026, at the chapel.
Angela will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and coworkers. Her gentle heart, sweet spirit, and the love she freely gave to others will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
