Barbara Nell Allen

Barbara Nell Allen, age 72, of Moscow, passed away on May 17, 2026. She was born in Somerville to the late Joe Allen and Mae Henri Tice Allen.

Barbara worked for many years in the retail industry as a UPC Clerk at Walmart. She was known for her kind spirit and the love she shared with her family and friends.

She is survived by her two sisters, Jo Ann Allen and Virginia (John) Crisp; her brother, Charlie Bo Allen; and her beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and godchildren: Rebecca (Andy) Anderson, Greg (Jeannie) Bryan, Nicholas Crisp, Joseph (Casey) Crisp, Wesley (Kaitlyn) Anderson, Colton (Christina) Anderson, Justin (Kristin) Tomlinson, Tyler (Chloe) Tomlinson, Tate Tomlinson, Trae Tomlinson, Lawson Ann Tomlinson, Carli Crisp, Holden Crisp, Gentry Anderson, and Halston Anderson.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Allen and Mae Henri Tice Allen.

Barbara enjoyed reading, coloring on her iPad, attending ballgames, spending time with her family, and going to church. Her warmth, faith, and love for those around her will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

A Memorial Service for Ms. Allen will be at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Moscow, TN.
