Barbara Ann Smalley (Sisco) born on February 9th 1958 and passed on December 5th 2025.

Barbara was born in Bolivar, her family moved to Jackson briefly in her elementary school days, and then settled in Middleton in the early 70s. She met her husband of 41 years, David Smalley in the early 80s and they married on February 11th 1984. They enjoyed several years together before welcoming their daughter Bridget Smalley on June 9th 1989. Barbara was a very devoted homemaker and also was the bookkeeper for Smalley Construction up until David retired. She was heavily involved in all of Bridget’s extracurricular activities and was a constant presence at every function whether it was a band concert or a tennis match. She and David enjoyed taking care of their beautiful property together. She had many gorgeous plants and flowers in her yard that kept her busy through the spring and summer months. They both made a welcoming environment for the birds, she especially loved the hummingbirds. Barbara had a very nurturing soul for everybody from new babies in her family to others in need. Everyone’s memories of her will be full of her bright smile and contagious laughter that was only intensified when her sisters, daughter and nieces joined in. Her memory will continue to bloom in the hearts of those who knew her, the flower beds she tended, the birds she fed, and the immense love that she showed others throughout her life.
