Bennie Harrell Hammer, Jr.

Bennie Harrell Hammer, Jr., age 53, resident of Saulsbury, Tennessee and husband of Stacey Stewart Hammer, departed this life Monday evening, July 28, 2025 at Bolivar General Hospital in Bolivar, Tennessee.

Bennie was born June 17, 1972 in Memphis, Tennessee, the son of the late Bennie Harrell Hammer and Barbara Jolly Hammer. He was employed as a small equipment mechanic for many years and enjoyed restoring old cars and working on motors. Bennie loved all things racing, deep sea fishing and was devoted to his furry companion, “Jackie Poo”.

Mr. Hammer is survived by his wife, Stacey Stewart Hammer; his son, Taylor Hammer; two daughters, Lauren Taylor (Joseph) and Victoria Wade; and two grandchildren, Gracelyn “Muffin” Taylor and Ashlyn “Cupcake” Taylor.

A visitation for Mr. Hammer will be from 12 noon until 2 P.M. Saturday, August 2, 2025 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland. Memorial Services will be at 2 P.M. Saturday, August 2, 2025 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel with Pastor Joseph Taylor officiating.
