Beverly "Cookie" (Hawkins) Brown

Beverly “Cookie” Hawkins Brown, age 71, resident of Somerville, Tennessee and wife of the late William Thomas Brown, departed this life Monday, October 10, 2022 at Baptist Reynolds Hospice House in Collierville, Tennessee.

Beverly was born January 20, 1951 in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Frank Hawkins and Maxie Kee Hawkins. She received her education at Memphis State University and was a teacher for several years, including working at Rossville Academy. Cookie was employed as a drive-thru teller at Trustmark Bank for many years and loved family and her cats. She loved her church, Moscow United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Brown is survived by two sons, Aaron Brown and Matt Brown; her brother, David Hawkins; and her aunt, Jean Glasgow-Okamoto.

Graveside Services for Mrs. Brown were held at 11 A.M. Monday, October 17, 2022 at Friendship Cemetery in Moscow, Tennessee. The officiating minister was Rev. Jim Graham.
