Carolyn enjoyed camping with friends. She loved to play cards and bingo. She was an enthusiastic shopper, known for her tactile approach—insisting on touching every item in the store to fully appreciate it.
She is survived by her only son, Jerry Love; daughter-in-law, Karen Love; and beloved grandsons, Josh Love and Jacob Love. Carolyn also leaves behind her three sisters: Jane Cruce, Vicki Dempsey, and Julia Deacy, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will miss her dearly.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald Ray Love, and her mother, Dorothy Sligh Dempsey.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to NHC HealthCare Somerville to further the services they offer to their residents.
