Charlotte Ann Brothers Taylor, age 70, resident of Scottsboro, Alabama, departed this life Saturday evening, May 3, 2025 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Collierville, Tennessee.
Charlotte was born June 7, 1954 in Smyrna, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Granville Brothers and Florence Alma Ward Brothers. She was employed as an administrator in the towing industry for many years before her retirement. Charlotte was known for her beautiful green eyes and spunky attitude. She had a green thumb and loved her family, flowers, music, antiques and Sunday afternoon rides in a big truck.
Ms. Taylor is survived by three sons, Patrick Brothers (Ashley), Joe Long (Darla) and Nacoma Long; her sister, Scarlett Sanford; her brother, Don Brothers; eight grandchildren, Breanna Long, Alexis Seamon (Jake), Emmye Brothers, Gran Brothers, Hayden Brothers, Aiden Long, Izabelle Long and Raylan Long; two bonus children, Carey Ann Taylor and Jason Taylor; five bonus grandchildren, Avery Joyner, Gracie Hill, Anna Taylor, CJ Taylor and Jaycee Taylor; five great-grandchildren, Braxton Seamon, Cade Seamon, Addalyn Seamon, Kolby Seamon and Grayson Seamon; and her previous husband, Carl Taylor.
A visitation for Ms. Taylor will be from 12 noon until 2 P.M. Saturday, May 10, 2025 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland. Funeral Services will be at 2 P.M. Saturday, May 10, 2025 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Bro. David Reeves, pastor of Midway Baptist Church in Whiteville, Tennessee, officiating. Interment will follow in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64.
