Christie Lynn Muliford

Christie Lynn Muliford, age 46, resident of Memphis, Tennessee, departed this life on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Christie was born on January 13, 1980, in Albany, Georgia, the daughter of James R. Muliford and Pamela Hartley. She graduated from Collierville High School in 1998, received her Major in Physical Therapy from the University of Memphis and later earned a Master’s Degree from the University of Tennessee, Memphis in Physical Therapy. All throughout her career she dedicated her life to helping others through physical therapy at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Ascension St. Thomas West, and St. Francis on Park in Memphis.

She enjoyed twerking, and had a love for music, traveling, and fishing. She loved football games and was a dedicated Tennessee Vols fan. Christie also enjoyed making others laugh and mentoring others at her workplace.

Christie is survived by her parents, Pam Hartley (Chuck) of Oakland, Tennessee and Rusty Muliford (Linda) of Leesburg, Georgia; her sister, Mandy Upchurch (Lee) of Arlington, Tennessee; her special friend of 15 years, Marchelle Coleman; Aunts, Lisa Jester (Hank) of Arlington, Georgia, and Paula Dixon (Mike) of Arlington, Texas; Uncles, Rodney Muliford of Albany, Georgia, Eric Stanek (Cathy) of Miami, Florida, and Andy Stanek (Indy) of Bedford, TX; Grandparents, Norm Stanek of Collierville, TN, James Muliford and Carolyn Muliford, of Albany, Georgia; as well as special nephews, Grant and Liam Upchurch; and many loving cousins.

She is preceded in death by her grandparent, Bev Stanek, and uncle, Ricky Muliford.

Funeral services for Ms. Muliford will be on Monday, January 19, 2026 at the Peebles Fayette County Funeral Home, located at 10670 Highway 64, Somerville, Tennessee, at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM prior to the service with Hank Jester of Arlington, Georgia Baptist Church.
