Christopher Robin Lansdell

Christopher Robin Lansdell, 45, passed away unexpectedly at his home on June 18, 2026, and entered the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was born on May 26, 1981.

Chris graduated from Fayette Academy in 2000, where he was a member of the National Honor Society and earned numerous awards and honors for his academic achievements. Following graduation, he spent much of his career in the phone and cable industry and also worked as a skilled heavy equipment operator. Chris possessed a remarkable ability to fix, build, and figure out just about anything. If something needed to be done, there was little he couldn’t accomplish.

Above all else, Chris treasured being a father. Spending time with his sons, Brady and Eli, brought him his greatest joy, and he was immensely proud of the young men they were becoming. He loved golfing, fishing, shooting guns, fireworks, and spending time outdoors, often enjoying quiet nights watching wildlife through his thermal scope. In recent years, Chris discovered a passion for creating artwork and leaves behind many beautiful pieces that his family will cherish for generations.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, Robin Duane Lansdell; his grandparents, Charles “Hootie” and Jewel Lansdell; and Hugh Marshall and Mary Anne Lazenby.

He is survived by his beloved sons, Brady and Eli Lansdell; his loving mother and stepfather, Glenda and Harlan Kee; his sister, Nicki (David) Proctor; his brother, Daniel (Christina) Lansdell; the mother of his sons, Karen Pennington; and his cherished nieces and nephews, Allie, Marshall, Harrison, Elaina, and Emma.

Chris is now reunited with his father, Robin, in Heaven—a reunion filled with joy beyond measure. Though he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, his legacy of love, laughter, creativity, and generosity will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

Services for Mr. Lansdell will be at 12 Noon Saturday, June 27, 2026 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Bro. David Reeves officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Williston. A visitation will be from 11 until 12 Saturday, at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland.
