Everett Earl Northup, age 86, passed away on February 17, 2026, at Regional One Health in Memphis, Tennessee.

Mr. Northup was born in Fort Morgan, Colorado to Oral and Lena Weaver Northup. Raised with a strong work ethic and love for the land, Everett spent many years in Colorado as a rancher and proudly owned and operated a tack store. Later in life, he became a heavy equipment operator, retiring in 1991 after years of dedicated service.

Everett had a deep love for the western way of life. He enjoyed raising colts and cattle and was happiest while horseback riding. He loved watching western movies, woodworking, and spending time outdoors. His favorite pastime was traveling to horse shows every weekend with his children, creating cherished memories that will last for generations.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Northup; two daughters, Kimberly Coffman (William Jr.) of Iron City, Tennessee, and Debi Northup of South Dakota; one son, Jim Northup (Roxanne) of Corona, California; two sisters, Hazel Cox and Alma Thompson; one brother, Robert Northup (Patti); six grandchildren, Kyleigh, Kyler, Skylar, Rock, Samantha, and Sarah; and several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Petey Northup, and his parents, Oral and Lena Northup.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Everett will be remembered for his strong spirit, love of family, and the legacy of hard work and dedication he leaves behind.

Lovingly written by the family to honor a life well lived.
