Everleigh Reese Branstetter

With great sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Everleigh Reece Branstetter, age 1, resident of Lamar, MS and daughter of Brandon and Ella Branstetter. Everleigh gained her angel wings on August 28, 2026 in a tragic accident alongside her sister, Sunni Marie Branstetter and her father, Brandon, two days later.

Everleigh will affectionately be remembered as being “Daddy’s girl and monster”, “Mom’s sweet cuddle bug”, Mimi and Pop Pop’s “stink pot and curtain climber” and Meanie and Pow Pow’s “reese’s pieces.” She adored her big sister, Sunni, and followed her everywhere she went. They were truly two peas in a pod. She passionately loved her baby dolls and teddy bears as well as Alvin and the Chipmunks. Favorite past time memories with Everleigh include swimming with her and eating one of her most favorite foods, watermelon. She will forever be remembered and honored for her feisty spunky character who often enjoyed head butting her loved ones as a funny gesture.

Everleigh is survived by her mother, Ella Branstetter; her maternal grandparents, Jeremy and Melanie Wilburn; her paternal grandparents, Greg and Melissa Branstetter; her great grandparents, Angie and Jerry Pesce, Charles and Patricia Thompson, Rickey and Donna Porch and Tommy Branstetter; her uncles, Matthew Branstetter, Greg Branstetter Jr., Kelton Stewart (Alexandra), Hunter Wilburn (Kristen), Preston Wilburn and James Thomas; her aunts, Eden Stewart, Haven Wilburn, Mandy Cloys, Kathryn Thomas and Kayla Summitt; her great uncle, Lee Taylor and cousins Zaydin Wilburn and Hasleigh Haislip.

Everleigh was preceded in death by her grandfather, Joshua Stewart and her great grandparents, Linda Branstetter and Mary and Daniel Wilburn.

A visitation for Everleigh will be commenced on Thursday, September 10, 2026 from 10:00- 1:00PM at Peebles West Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 1:00PM with Brother Stan Smith officiating. Graveside services will follow at Memphis Memory Gardens located at 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Rd. in Memphis, TN, where an array of pink balloons will be released in her honor.

Pallbearers for Everleigh will include Greg Branstetter Sr., Greg Branstetter Jr., Hunter Wilburn and Eric Graves.
