Florence Ann Sebren

Florence Ann (Fran) Sebren, age 76, of Somerville, passed away peacefully at her residence on April 26, 2026.

Born in Woodlake, CA, Fran was the daughter of the late Robert Jackson Griffin and Dorothy Jean Furnas Griffin. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother and great-grandmother known to all as Nana, and a beloved sister whose presence brought warmth and strength to those around her.

She is survived by her husband, Don B. Sebren; her two daughters, Beth (James) Ross and Katie (Dave) Weisbeck; her three sisters, Carol Larssen, Roberta Drake, and Claudia Gaylord; her five grandchildren, Johnathan Furr, Taylor Devore (CJ), Tanner Sebren, Brandon Furr, and Crystal Hodge; and her four great-grandchildren, Trenton, Maddox, Amelia, and Peyton, all of whom will carry forward her memory with love.

Florence was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Jack Griffin, and her mother-in-law, Margaret Sebren (Gannie).

Fran loved growing up in California near the ocean. She was an artist. Her creativity took many shapes throughout her life from painting, floral arranging, and owning a décor store.

Fran’s life was marked by her love for family and the lasting impact she made on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.

Memorials may be designated to the National Kidney Foundation.
