Frederick Conner Robson, born on May 22, 1947, in Oxnard, California, passed away on July 20, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was the beloved son of the late, Henry P. and Anna Burns Robson.

Raised in Natchez, Mississippi, Conner graduated from Cathedral High School in 1965. In 1968, he married the love of his life, Catherine Rodriguez, with whom he shared 58 wonderful years of marriage and raised two sons, Marc and Brian.

A dedicated and hardworking provider, Conner worked for International Paper Co. in Natchez for 36 years. He was a life-long parishioner at St. Mary’s Basilica.

In 2006, he moved to Oakland, TN and became a faithful member of St. Philip, the Apostle Catholic Church, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He retired from Drexel Chemical Co. in 2016.

Above all, family was the cornerstone of Conner’s life. He worked tirelessly to ensure his loved ones were always cared for and cherished every moment spent together.

Conner is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Catherine Robson; his son, Marc Robson; daughter-in-law Julia; two grandchildren, JP and Emma Robson; his brother, Emmett Robson; and two sisters, Mary David (Butch) and Dottie Echols.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry P. and Anna Burns Robson; his son, Brian Robson; two brothers, Henry and Johnny Robson; and his sister, Gayle R. Poole. 

Services for Mr. Robson will be private.
