H. Dale Franklin
April 2, 1951 — November 18, 2017
Hubert Dale Franklin, age 66, resident of Arlington, Tennessee, longtime resident of Memphis, Tennessee and husband of Donna Kay Nichols Franklin, passed away Saturday morning, November 18, 2017 after a long illness.
To honor Dale’s request, a Private Family Ceremony will be held in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Arrangements will be provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – West Chapel at Oakland.
Dale was born April 2, 1951 in Memphis, Tennessee. He was a graduate of Frayser High School Class of 1969 and attended Memphis State University for two years. Dale was a graphic designer, a gifted musician and music historian who loved the music of Memphis, West Memphis and The Delta.
Dale is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Donna Nichols Franklin; his son, Blake Franklin (Jenny) of Arlington, TN; his daughter, Amanda Franklin (Thomas Hay) of Scottsdale, AZ; his mother, June Franklin of Enville, TN; and his sister, Debbie Warf (James).
He was preceded in death by his father, Dee Franklin, a resident of Enville, Tennessee.
