Ivan Troy Vincent, age 59, a resident of Somerville, Tennessee, lost his courageous battle with cancer on June 27, 2026, at his parents' residence. He was born on December 30, 1966, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Conrad Vincent, Jr. and Teresa Fay Brading Vincent.
Ivan was a man of many talents and passions. After earning his GED through the Adult Education Center in Louisville, Kentucky, he pursued a variety of endeavors throughout his life. He worked as a seasonal chef, was an entrepreneur, and proudly authored four published books. He never met a stranger and his creativity and determination were evident in everything he set out to accomplish.
On a personal level, Ivan found joy in welding, forging, ceramics, cooking, and spending time with his beloved dogs. He also treasured traveling with his family, especially the many cruises they enjoyed together. In 2000, he married the love of his life, Anita James Vincent, with whom he shared many cherished memories until her passing.
Mr. Vincent is survived by his parents, Conrad Vincent, Jr. and Teresa Vincent; his son, Nick Klein and his wife, Maryln; his brothers, Conrad Vincent, III (Dava) and David W. Vincent, Sr. (Audra); and his nephew, David W. Vincent, Jr., whom he loved as his own. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita James Vincent, his sister, Andra Jean Duke, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In accordance with his wishes, services for Mr. Vincent will be private.
