Jackie G. Watson was born in Memphis, Tennessee on March 2, 1967, to W. C. Watson and Carolyn Goforth Watson. Mr. Watson was one who worked all his life, loving to work on vehicles in particular. He was a Hog Farmer by trade. He was a practical joker and loved making people laugh. Jackie was a very simple person and would give you the shirt off his back, if he liked you! 

Mr. Watson departed this life on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at the Pine Meadows Healthcare Center in Bolivar, Tennessee, at the age of 58. He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Goforth Watson; His aunt, Brenda Smith (Gary); his uncle, Robert Goforth (Annette); and his niece, Loretta “Sissy” Trejo and her four children. 

Jackie was preceded in death by his father, W. C. Watson; and two brothers, David and Randy “Scottie” Watson. 

A Memorial Service for Mr. Watson will be Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 1:00 PM, at Peebles Funeral Home, West Chapel, located at 10670 Highway 64, Somerville, Tennessee, officiated by Warren Adams. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM prior to the Memorial Service.
