Jean P. Hilliard Deniston

Jean P. Hilliard Deniston, age 88, resident of Bartlett, Tennessee and widow of Kenneth Thad Deniston, departed this life due to heart failure on Thursday afternoon, August 25, 2022, at the home of her daughter, Paulette (Hilliard) Mastin.

Jean was born and raised in Arkansas, the daughter of the late Louis Clyde and Marguerite Imogene (Campbell) Phillips. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Eugene Parker Hilliard and her son, Robert Parker Hilliard, as well as her sister, Marguerite Virginia (Phillips) Browning.

She is survived by her daughter, Paulette (Hilliard) Mastin of Bartlett, TN; her granddaughters, Kelsie (Mastin) Allen (spouse, Matthew), Morgan Mastin and Rebekah Mastin all of Bartlett, TN; and her sole surviving sister, Reba (Phillips) Hurt (spouse, Charles) of Millington, TN; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Graveside Services for Mrs. Deniston were held at 2 P.M. Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64 at Oakland, Tennessee with Pastor Timothy Green officiating.

Honorary pallbearers were Matthew Allen and CJ Starnes.
