Judith Ann Parker, age 87, resident of Arlington, Tennessee, passed away on December 30, 2025, at Oakdale Care Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Judith was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and graduated from Poplar Bluff High School in 1956. She devoted several years of her life to education, serving as a substitute teacher at Sheffield Shrine School for the Handicapped, where her compassion and patience left a lasting impression on the children she served.
A faithful woman, Judith attended church at Arlington Assembly of God and found great joy in worship through music. She had a deep love for music and a true passion for playing the piano at churches, sharing her talent generously with others. She was also a proud member of the Arlington Senior Citizens Band.
On March 28, 1959, Judith married Paul R. Parker. She was a loving wife and devoted mother, whose life centered around caring for others. She had a heartfelt passion for helping handicapped children, a calling she lived out both professionally and personally, especially through her deep and unwavering love for her handicapped son, Charlie, whom she cherished dearly.
Judith also enjoyed traveling and vacationing throughout the United States, creating treasured memories along the way with her beloved cousin, Glenda.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul R. Parker; her son, Charlie Parker; her parents, Chester and Aleene Sanders; and one brother, Gaylen Sanders.
She is survived by her son, Chester “Mackey” Parker of Arlington, Tennessee; and two brothers, Glenn A. Sanders of St. Louis, Missouri, and Steve Sanders of Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Judith will be remembered for her gentle spirit, servant’s heart, musical talent, and the quiet but powerful love she showed to her family and all those in need.
