Julia Elaine Lynch Kerley

Julia Elaine Lynch Kerley, age 71, resident of Somerville, Tennessee and wife of the late Don Kerley, departed this life Wednesday morning, April 23, 2025 at Henderson Health and Rehabilitation Center in Henderson, Tennessee.

Julia was born August 1, 1953 in Jackson, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Doyle Lynch and Ora Kennedy Lynch. She graduated from Chester County High School in 1971 and was employed at Shoney’s as a waitress. She then went on to travel opening new Shoney’s restaurants. Following her employment with Shoney’s, she worked as an executive secretary at Federal Express for 20 years before her retirement. Julia was married in June of 2000 to Don Kerley and was an Elvis Presley fan who collected Elvis memorabilia. She was a NASCAR fan, especially Rusty Wallace, and she loved her pets dearly.

Mrs. Kerley is survived by her brother, Donald Lynch (Donna) of Henderson, TN and stepdaughter, Stephnie Dwyer (Jody) of Oakland, TN and her. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Joyce Glover and Diane Troutt and two brothers, Roy Lynch and Curtis Lynch.

Graveside Services for Mrs. Kerley will be held at 1 P.M. Saturday, April 26, 2025 at the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64.
