Lauren Ashley Rutherford

Lauren Ashley Rutherford was born in Duluth, Minnesota, on May 9, 1992, to Kevin V. Rutherford and Vicky Andrews Rutherford.

Miss Rutherford was an active member of the Forest Hill Church of Christ, in Memphis, TN. She was a nurse by profession and had served in this field for ten years.

Lauren was greeted into the arms of her Heavenly Father at the age of 33.

She is survived by her parents, Kevin and Vicky Rutherford; her brother, Caleb Rutherford and his wife, Kaylon; Nieces, Hadley and Ellie Rutherford; sister, Hannah Rutherford; and her grandparents, Rod and Brenda Rutherford.

Miss Rutherford was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Larry and Martha Andrews.

She was a loving daughter, sister, nurse, Bible class teacher and friend. Her smile was contagious. Her joy was infectious. Her gentle, loving hand was felt by all who knew her. Her mission, which she faithfully lived out, was to live for Jesus and to lead others to Him. Above all else – she was a faithful child of God, who is now enjoying her reward. What a glorious day it will be when we, along with all those who have gone on before, are reunited to lift our voices together in song, praise, and worship to the great God whom we serve. To Him be thanks, for His never-ending goodness; and may He be glorified in all that we do.
