Lisa Reneé Waller

Lisa Reneé Waller, 66, of Fayette County, Tennessee passed away on June 14, 2026. She was born on July 7, 1959, in Memphis, Tennessee to William Edward Carey and Juanita Lee Hobbs-Carey. Lisa was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was known and will be remembered for her joyful heart, and her love for God, children, animals, and the sport of fishing.

Lisa graduated from First Christian Academy in 1978. She later worked as a fund raising coordinator for ALSAC St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Lisa is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Harold “Hal” Waller; daughter, Amanda Leanne Thornton (husband Lee Thornton) granddaughter, Leilu Monet Conaway; grandson, Ezekiel Wesley Thornton; sister, Linda Carey-Ragghianti (husband Dennis Ragghianti).

Pallbearers include Lee Thornton, James Smith, Eric Thornton, Donald Mills, Don Akey, and Terry Grove.

A celebration of Lisa’s life will be held at First Fisherville Baptist Church, Eads, Tennessee on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. with visitation to be one hour prior to the service. A brief graveside service and burial will follow immediately at the church’s cemetery.
