Louise Kellett Goodwin, age 66, departed this life on July 13, 2026 at her home in Atoka, Tennessee with her loving husband by her side. 

Louise was born in Memphis, Tennessee to the late George Monroe Kellett, Jr. and Martha Johnson Kellett. She attended Kingsbury High School in Memphis, Tennessee and continued her education at Tennessee Tech where she obtained her certified Dental Assistant degree. She pursued her career in medical management for many years prior to her retirement in 2024. 

In 1975, Louise met the love of her life, Bill Goodwin, in high school, and they were married on May 22, 1981. Together they spent 45 years of marriage, sharing many heartfelt memories. They attended hope Presbyterian Church. 

Louise will be fondly remembered as "a bright light in this harsh world." Louise had a way of seeing life through a different lens and always had a positive spirit. She loved unconditionally and was always there for others to lend a helping hand to those in need. Above all, Louise will be remembered as a kind, caring, thoughtful, and giving soul who was a devoted "Lovie" to her grandchildren.

Mrs. Goodwin is survived by her husband, Bill Goodwin of Atoka, TN; her three sons, Ross Goodwin of Tyler, TX, Christopher Goodwin (Anna) of Atoka, TN, and Blake Goodwin (Erin) of Bartlett, TN; one sister, Georgia Ellis (Jerry) of Arlington, TN; one brother, Wally Kellett of Perdido Key, FL; and four grandchildren, Aidan Goodwin, Julie Goodwin, Logan Goodwin, and Benjamin Goodwin.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Goodwin was preceded in death by one grandchild, Grace Goodwin.

Services for Mrs. Goodwin will be a private family gathering. Pallbearers will be Ross Goodwin, Chris Goodwin, Blake Goodwin, Aidan Goodwin, Logan Goodwin, and Jacob Ellis. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mark Davis and Lee Smoot.
