Marion Inez Wright

Marion Inez Wright, age 81, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. She was born on January 8, 1945, in Memphis, Tennessee.

Marion attended Fayette Ware High School and spent her working years as a waitress. She was a kind and caring woman who found joy in the simple things in life. She especially loved flowers and gardening, and she cherished the companionship of her beloved fur babies. Her love for those around her will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, Laura Jeane Crawford; and her grandson, Aaron Andrew Crawford (Rebbecca).

She was preceded in death by her mother, Vennie Crafton Waddell.

Funeral Services for Ms. Wright will be held at 1:00, Monday afternoon, September 28, 2026, at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville, Tennessee, with interment following at Perry Cemetery in the Laconia community. A visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until 1:00, Monday afternoon, September 28, 2026, at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville, Tennessee.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Aaron Crawford, Dylan Moody, Steve Moody, Shane Wright, and Jamie Wood.
