Memphis, Tennessee
Mother and beloved wife, Mattie Dimple Hoggard, has passed to Heaven to be with her Lord and Savior. She passed at the Baptist Reynolds Hospice House on March 23, 2026.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 4000 Forest Hill Irene Rd, Memphis, TN 38125, with Brother Tommy Marsh and Josh Warren officiating. A private internment will occur separately.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Arrie Mae Vice Alexander, father, Marvin Kaylor Vice, sisters Jennie L. Vice Ryan and Mae Dean Lynn, brother Kaylor Vice, and son Kelly Hoggard. Left to contemplate her memory are her husband, Cecil Hoggard; daughter, Cathy Vanleit; grandchildren, Mandi Warren and David Polk; and great-grandchildren, Abbigale Rose Polk, Samson Glen Polk, and Emma Rae Puckett.
May she rest in peace.
