June 17, 1918 — May 5, 2010
Ottis G. Hill, 91, longtime Oakland/Macon resident, retired farmer, WWII Army Veteran and husband of Betty Culver Hill died May 5, 2010. Services: 2 PM Saturday at Oakland First Baptist Church where he was a devoted member. Interment with Military Honors in Macon Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 PM Friday at Peebles West Chapel at Oakland. Known for his love of people and never meeting a stranger, Mr. Hill also leaves his children; Venie Forsythe (Jerry) of Parsons, Shirley Smith (David) of Somerville, Betty Carol Whitaker (Tom) of Oakland, Danny Ray Hill (Marilyn) of Pinetop, AZ., 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 1 great-
