Rebecca R German

Rebecca R. German, age 93, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 10, 2026. She was born on April 1, 1933, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, to the late Clarence and Lorine Foster.

Rebecca dedicated much of her life to caring for others. She worked as a nurse aide in healthcare, where she found great joy in helping those in need and providing comfort and compassion to others. Her caring nature extended beyond her work and was a beautiful reflection of the love she had for her family.

Rebecca enjoyed quilting and treasured the time spent creating beautiful things with her hands. She also had a special place in her heart for her beloved dog, Blaze. Above all, Rebecca loved her family deeply. She cherished her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and the love she gave them will remain a lasting part of their lives.

Rebecca is survived by her daughter, Melinda Lessel (Dewayne); her son, Randall German (Pam); five grandchildren, Trevor, Allison, Rachel, Keith, and Jason; four great-grandchildren; and her sister, Linda Montgomery.

In addition to her parents, Rebecca was preceded in death by her husband, Earl German; her son, Kenneth German; her grandson, Kevin German; two sisters, Doris Reed and Lessie Green; and two brothers, Roger Foster and May Foster.

A visitation will be held at Peebles West Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, September, 15, 2026 from 5:00pm-7:00pm.  

Rebecca will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her kindness, caring heart, and devotion to her family will live on in the memories she leaves behind.
