Rudolph Edward Ott, Jr.

Rudolph Edward Ott, Jr., age 71, resident of Somerville, Tennessee, departed this life Monday evening, February 19, 2018 in Somerville.

A Private Family Interment was held at the Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – Main Chapel of Somerville.

Mr. Ott was born December 29, 1946 in Kansas City, Kansas. He served his country in the United States Army as a Specialist Five and was employed as a carpenter for many years. He was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed reading and woodworking. Mr. Ott had a special love for animals, especially horses and dogs.

Mr. Ott is survived by his mother, Bonnie Ott of Somerville, TN; three sisters, Patrice Tapp (Raymond) of Somerville, TN, Karen McGaa (Kyle) of Bellingham, WA, Cathy Klassen (Phil) of Kansas City, MO; his brother, Jim Ott (Denice) of Austin, TX; his son, Derek Ott of Topeka, KS; his daughter, Molly Kellam of Grayson, MO; three grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rudolph Edward Ott, Sr. who died in 1987 and his brother, Michael Ott.
