Steven Rene McGee

Steven Rene McGee, age 57, resident of Piperton, TN, passed away on August 18, 2026 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN.

Steven graduated from Fayette County High School and continued his education at Southwest Community College. Steven was a lineman at Memphis Light Gas and Water for many years until his retirement.

He enjoyed traveling, water activities, and off-road riding. Steve also enjoyed cooking for his family and friends. He loved lengthy phone conversations too. Although he was medically challenged following his retirement, he met that challenge and never complained. 

Steve is survived by his father, Conny Ray McGee; his sister, Dhenea McGee (Wade Hughes); and his nephew, Kyeran McGee. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dana Marie McGee. 

Graveside Services for Mr. McGee will be at 2 Monday afternoon, August 31, 2026, at Friendship Cemetery in Moscow, TN.
