Victor McNeal

Victor McNeal, age 64, resident of Oakland, Tennessee, departed this life Sunday, June 21, 2026.

Victor was born on July 3, 1961 in Memphis, Tennessee, the son of Oscar Lee and Helen McNeal Moore. He graduated from the University of Tennessee- Knoxville with a major in Liberal Arts. He went on to teach at various schools, retiring at Jeter High School. He loved all sports with a special passion for golf.

Victor is survived by his mother, Helen McNeal Moore of Oakland, TN; three sisters, Brenda Lee of Collierville, TN, Dawn Becton of Oakland, TN, and Dinah Wilson of Oakland, TN; and six brothers, Tyrone McNeal (Tomiko) of Middleton, TN, Stephen McNeal (Estella) of Bolivar, TN, Rodney McNeal of Nashville, TN, Christopher McNeal of Somerville, TN, Ronald Arnold of Nashville, TN, and Brian McNeal of Oakland, TN.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Charles Douglas Moore; two sisters, Kimberly Clark and Trina Michele Moore; and two brothers, Michael McNeal and Eric McNeal.

Victor leaves a host of nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

We want to acknowledge the West Cancer Clinic, Compassus Hospice, and St. Francis-Bartlett for all the care that they showed to Victor and his family.

A graveside service for Mr. McNeal will be at 12 noon Sunday at Pleasant Rest Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Millington. A visitation for Mr. McNeal will be from 10 Sunday morning until 11 Sunday at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland.
