Eric Sean "Big E" McNeal

Eric Sean McNeal, known to many as “Big E”, age 53, resident of Bartlett, Tennessee, departed this life Thursday morning, May 13, 2021 at his home.

Eric was born January 25, 1968 in Shelby County, Tennessee, the son of Bobby T. Crawford and Helen McNeal Moore. He graduated from Collierville High School and lived in Shelby County for much of his life. “Big E” was employed as a warehouse worker for many years.

Mr. McNeal is survived by his son, Arik Jamal Gant of Memphis, TN; his mother, Helen McNeal Moore of Oakland, TN; his father, Bobby Crawford of Memphis, TN; two sisters, Dawn Becton of Oakland, TN and Dinah Wilson of Oakland, TN; and seven brothers, Victor McNeal of Oakland, TN, Tyrone McNeal of Middleton, TN, Stephen McNeal of Moscow, TN, Rodney McNeal of Nashville, TN, Christopher McNeal of Somerville, TN, Ronald Arnold of Nashville, TN and Brian McNeal of Oakland, TN.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Douglas Moore; two sisters, Kimberly Clark and Trina Michele Moore; and his brother, Michael McNeal.

A gathering of family and friends of Eric was from 12 noon until 2 P.M. Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland.
