Jannette (Palmer) Langford

Jannette Palmer Langford, age 69, resident of Somerville, Tennessee and wife of Madison “Matt” Langford, departed this life Thursday evening, June 6, 2019 at her residence.

Jannette was born January 20, 1950 in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Milton Howard Palmer and Janie Weaver Palmer. She received her bachelor’s degree at Memphis State University and was married October 8, 1982 to Madison Porter “Matt” Langford. She was employed with the State of Tennessee Division of Children’s Services for over 30 years before her retirement and loved going to church. Jannette was a member of Spring Hill Church of Christ in Somerville and enjoyed watching television, reading and working crossword puzzles.

Mrs. Langford is survived by her husband of 36 years, Madison Porter “Matt” Langford of Somerville, TN; her son, William Madison Langford and his wife, Brittany, of Somerville, TN; two sisters, Amber Palmer of California, Mary Cagle and her husband, Ronnie, of Pennsylvania; her brother, James “Jimmy” Palmer and his wife, Sandra, of Lakeland, TN; and her grandson, William Brande Langford.
