Jere Windle Finch, Jr.

Jere Windle Finch, Jr., age 69, a resident of Memphis, and husband of Annette Finch, departed this life on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett, TN.

Jere was born July 25, 1953, in Memphis to the late Jere W. Finch, Sr. and Katie June Taylor Finch. Jere was employed at Humko/Kraft Foods for 25 years, and after the plant’s closure, worked for Sherwin Williams, Cook’s Pest Control, and Walmart, from which he recently retired. Jere enjoyed fishing and watching sports and was a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan. He also enjoyed weekly lunches with his buddies who were all also former employees of Humko/Kraft.

Jere is survived by his sister, Denise Estes and her husband, Bobby, of Saulsbury, TN, and nephews, Wesley Estes and wife, Amanda, of Bolivar, TN, Drew Estes and wife Jessica of Katy, TX, and Jeff Estes and wife Kelly of Burnet, TX, as well as several great-nieces and -nephews.

Besides his parents, Jere was preceded in death by his brother, Rickey Eugene Finch.
