Also randomly introduced to LCC while searching for help while playing Distant Worlds, but was so impressed that I stayed and browsed around his Google site, then just searched his name to find out more. What a mind. Loved the Blarney series. Sad you passed so young, Lonnie.

I know this person passed away a long time ago, but I felt the need to express my condolences. I have never met him, I haven't heard of him before very recently, but as it turns out, we've shared a common love for one game - Distant Worlds.

I've found the guides he wrote very useful and written in such a way that I could easily follow them and understand, and they left me impressed with the amount of dedication he put into them. If it wasn't for his input, it's very possible I would've missed out on a very enjoyable pasttime, and for that I want to thank him. I wish I could've found the game earlier and thus interacted with him as he seemed a very friendly and fun person.

My condolences to his family, he is a treasure that continues to share his wealth of knowledge long after his passing.

I wish to express my condolences to the family of Lonnie Courtney Clay, known to me by his username Jeeves. I knew him from his contributions to a forum about a computer game called Distant Worlds. Though I never met hin in person and only recently saw a photo of him but I did enjoy his very informative and helpful articles about the game. Users come and users go, but Lonnie was a constant.

It is always sad when one voice falls silent in out choir, even if new voices arise, we will always miss those who went.
