Rachel Michelle (Hume) Langston

Rachel Michelle Hume Langston, age 37, resident of Bartlett, Tennessee and wife of Wade Langston, departed this life Thursday, December 30, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Rachel was born November 14, 1984 in Memphis, the daughter of Frank and Shellie Hume.  She was formerly employed as a salesperson with Cook’s Pest Control and as an eye technician at Bartlett Vision Center. She was previously a member of Ellendale Baptist Church and she loved her animals, music and being outside.

Rachel is survived by the love of her life, her husband, Wade Langston of Bartlett, TN; her daughter, Alyssa Sanders of Bartlett, TN; her son, Luke Sanders of Bartlett, TN; her parents, Frank and Shellie Hume of Eads, TN; her grandmother, Sara Henry of Newport, TN; her sister, Beth Fortner (Andy) of Eads, TN; her brother, Thomas Hume, Jr. (Karoline) of Oakland, TN; her granddaughter, Harper Sanders; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services for Rachel will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Eads Baptist Church with Kevin Carroll officiating. A visitation for Rachel will be from 1 until 2 P.M. Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Eads Baptist Church.
