Sandra Kay (Treadwell) Russell

Sandra Kay Treadwell Russell, age 65, resident of Somerville, Tennessee, departed this life Thursday morning, January 14, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett.

Sandra was born June 7, 1955 in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Eugene Clifton Treadwell and Mantie Lou Jones Treadwell. She was a member of Kirk Baptist Church in Collierville, Tennessee and a homemaker throughout her life. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning and watching television.

Ms. Russell is survived by two sisters, Carolyn Henning (Jim) of Rossville, TN and Neita Joyner of Eads, TN; three brothers, David Jones Treadwell (Sylvia) of Collierville, TN, Eugene Grant Treadwell (Becky) of Collierville, TN and George Stanley Treadwell (Linda) of Olive Branch, MS; her niece and caretaker for the last five years, Amy Beasley of Collierville, TN; and her four grandchildren, whom she loved so much, Cody Kelly, Joshua Tankersley, Haley Davis and Noah Tankersley. She will be missed by her nieces and her helper, Veronica Wright.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Crystal Tankersley, Deanna Thomas and Stephen Russell; two sisters, Peggy Sue Treadwell and Betty Ann Treadwell Stokes; and her brother, Robert Clifton Treadwell.

Ms. Russell will be interred in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64.
