Seth Wayne Underhill

Seth Wayne Underhill, age 25, resident of Memphis, Tennessee, departed this life Monday evening, March 15, 2021.

Seth was born October 30, 1995 in Southaven, Mississippi. He was an Eagle Scout of Troop 133 in Oakland where he received a Boy Scout Medal of Honor for heroism and a graduate of Fayette Ware High School in 2014. He was a member of Hickory Withe First Baptist Church and loved going on mission trips to Haiti and Honduras. Seth loved God and had a large, giving, loving and compassionate heart. His family knows he was saved and will see him in Heaven again.

Seth is survived by his parents, Curtis Wayne and Andrea Taylor Underhill; his sister, Tabitha Underhill; three brothers, Bradley Underhill, Andrew Howell (MC) and Preston Underhill; his grandparents, Danny and Shirley Underhill and Gerry and Melba Spain; and their special “BYK”, Courtney Rush Moore (Lane).

Funeral Services for Seth were held at 11 A.M. Saturday, March 20, 2021 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland. The officiating minister was David Jerkins. Interment will be in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64.

The family requests that memorials be directed to Hickory Withe First Baptist Church SMI – Haiti, 17675 U.S. Highway 196, Eads, TN 38028 in memory of Seth Underhill.
