Wilma Fay (Martin) Kee

Wilma Fay Martin Kee, age 71, resident of Stanton, Tennessee and wife of Perry Kee, departed this life Saturday morning, January 15, 2022 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee.

Fay was born August 27, 1950 in Haywood County, Tennessee, the daughter of Margaret Irene Duncan Martin and the late Rev. Percy Coolidge Martin, Sr. She was married December 15, 1967 to Perry Kee and was a homemaker and professional seamstress throughout her life. Mrs. Kee was a member of Reach360 Church in Somerville, Tennessee and will be remembered for being a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Kee is survived by her husband of 54 years, Perry Kee of Stanton, TN; her daughter, Demetra “Dee” Pilant (Stan) of Haywood County, TN; her son, Steven Kee (Scott) of Atlanta, GA; her mother, Margaret Martin; two sisters, Joyce Sharp (Roger) of Keeling, TN and Betty Smith of Camden, TN; four brothers, Henry Martin (Sandra) of Keeling, TN, David Ray Martin (Jennifer) of Whiteville, TN, John Daniel Martin of Stanton, TN and Gary Lynn Martin (Lou) of Dancyville, TN; and three grandchildren, Emily Pilant Ridgeway (Mason), Allison Pilant and Cúan Scott Kee. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Percy Martin, Jr. and Richard Thomas Martin.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Kee were held at 2 P.M. Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Reach360 Church in Somerville with Pastor Craig McGee officiating. Interment followed in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Byron Smith, Kerry Smith, Mitchell Martin, Richard Joyner, Randy Kee and Frankie King.
